Winnie Whately

As Principal, Winnie has over 20 years of experience in public practice.

Leaving a large corporate firm to start her own business in 2010, with the desire to establish and maintain quality client relationships and to strike a healthier work/life balance.

Winnie began her studies at James Cook University completing a Bachelor of Commerce in 1998. Achieving membership with CPA Australia (CPA) in 2004, then being admitted to membership of the institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (CA) after completing her studies in 2006.

She is also recognised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia as a Self Managed Super Fund Specialist.   Winnie is a Registered Tax Agent and holds a certificate of Public Practice from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Winnie’s straight forward creative communication style is what sets her apart from other Accountants, she cares for the outcomes achieved by her clients.  A special passion is start up businesses and educating new business owners on the practice side of operating a business.  She has a strong coaching background and applies flare when advising a very broad portfolio of clients.
